can't say I use it, but be sure to make the point that it willsave the city money by reducing the number of on the job injuries and exposures, etc. etc.
I was asked yesterday to prepare a written report so that we can present the safety gear that I spec'd out last fall to the Detroit City Council. I have a preconceived idea as far as the layout of my written proposal and presentation, however, I need a better idea as to just how many other departments use Morning Pride EMS gear other than FDNY/EMS and Boston EMS (2 of the largest players in EMS safety.)
Today, I will begin writting what will probably amount to a 6-7 page written proposal/presentation with the anticipation that council will allow us to get the grants written and force the department to allow our members to be fully protected.
So far this looks great as with us having a new union (DEMSA-POAM) we have more friends within city government than we did with our previous union.
If anyone else uses this gear (Same stuff I posed is and posted.) Please let me know so that I may add your EMS Division or company to the list of folks that use it.

I used to be such a nice girl...
