I could use a little help here. I am using Microsoft PowerPoint to put together a slide show complete with music (Hero, Nickleback) and I could use a few pointers as I have a minor amount of experience with using it.
What I need to know is, when I add the music file on the first slide, will is play throughout the entire presentation from one photo to the next? Also, is there a speed setting that i need to add as each photo runs into the next? Any assistance would be great as I am going midway into the photos being added.

If what you are trying to create is a music video type slide show it may be a better bet to use the movie maker feature on windows photo gallery. I know it is a feature on Vista I have made several full length music video slide shows with it. If you go the movie maker route it has ways to adjust the timing of each slide once you play around with it the program is pretty user friendly. As far as doing it with powerpoint can't help never had much success with making music video presentations. If you use the movie maker and need help let me know be glad to help you out

You can set the music to play for just one slide or wrap.

I attached music to one slide, but it doesn't play for the length of the entire presentation. I'm a bit puzzled.

Find a 10-year old. For some reason, they can fix these problems.
It's worked for me.

It's somewhere in the options. The help options in Microsoft and on Microsoft online usually help me figure things out.

Well...I'm messing with it TONIGHT lol!! I didn't get the chance to do anything with it last night because I was so damn sick that I couldn't even see straight. Hopefully I can make it happen tonight.

Thanks for the help all. I figured it out through custom settings on animations and added Hero by Nickleback for the first 39 slides. The entire presentation is probably going to be in the lines of 90-100 slides and will have 2 or 3 songs to cover them all. I think the 2nd song will probably be Hero of the day by Metallica. Not too certain on the final song as of yet.
