For those that do not know about this service and those that already do, this year on May, 23rd 2009 will be the National EMS Memorial Service's last year in Roanoke, Virginia. As of next year it will be held in Colorado at it's permanant home (See nemsms.org for more details.)

This year, some 90 Honorees will be remembered for their services in EMS and for paying the ultimate sacrifice for tehir profession....giving their lives in the line of duty.
