Hi GhettoMedic world. I feel disconnected from everything... My life has been one heck of a whirl-wind over the past several months.

I'm almost done my second and headed into the third semester of my first year of nursing school. Next week I actually find out if I get accepted into the second year of the program. 2. Never before

I've never posted anything remotely close to this before. This has been something floating around my brain for a few months.

  5. Nightmares Aren't Just for Children

It was early summer morning in 1986; I was a new member of a local volunteer ambulance corps in New York., and the only training I had at the time was CPR. I was asleep when my ambulance pager alerted me at about 3:00 a.m. The dispatcher requested an ambulance to respond for a woman stuck in an elevator at one of the local county clubs. I wasn’t on duty that morning, but the call was close to my home, and the ambulance headquarters was across town so I responded. I remember thinking as I was ...
