I have started a Yahoo Group that is for EMS, Fire, LEO types to cuss and discuss physical fitness, diet, stress, etc issues that are related to the type of jobs we do.
If anyone is interested, here is the link: http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/old_paramedics_under_stress/
Thanks Mike for agreeing to allow me to post this.
I will be uploading some files, etc in a few days. Please sign up if interested and lets support each other in getting or staying healthy!

Just signed up randal, let's see where this goes. My biggest downfall is (and always has been) getting to the gym.

Ill check it out... later, have to run right now.
My biggest downfall on exercise or diet is that every time I try, I end up getting sick. Last time I tried, I caught the flu, and when I was over that, I messed up my back and was out of commission for 2 weeks.

I suggest the martial arts. Since I started judo, I've lost 9 pounds, and I am in better shape than I have been for a while

Physical fitness in mid age is very difficult, Because you gain weight very fast after 30 to 35 age. In this age weight loss become a problem for the people. For weight loss regular exercise and low crab diet require. Jogging and swimming is best exercise to tune all body muscles.

Actually I think crab is pretty ok to eat, provided you watch the butter intake that usually goes along with it.
