As this country slowly yet inevitably slides past the point of no return, it is not always easy to identify a clear portend of "The End of Days."

Luckily, I have managed to find a sterling sign of our nation's certain implosion with the video below.

If any number of men and women can get together and vote this batshit crazy imbecile into the office of mayor is the surest indicator yet that the end is near.

Hell, maybe the liberals are right and we Americans can't be trusted to take care of ourselves. I mean, when we're choosing mayors that have the common sense of a brain damaged guppy I'm not sure the radical left is wrong.

YouTube - Crazy ass LOONEY Wellford SC Mayor Sallie Peake orders police NOT to give chase by foot OR car!

She is a idiot. Don't chase the criminals cause you may get hurt. The criminals wouldn't commit another crime before you catch them at home or work later. Citizens still protected my ass. She can take her religion elsewhere its not going to keep anyone safe from a guy with a gun or knife.

I'm sure that as soon as someone commits a crime, the cops don't chase them and the person commits another crime, the policy will be rescinded and the mayor will be removed from office.

Strange that she didn't seem to consider the cost of a civil suit against the city for allowing someone to be the victim of a crime...

I read the comments on the story on the TV station it aired on. This nutjob disbanded the fire department/rescue squad because they did not drink the Kool Aid and vote for her.

The people are saying she loses the popular vote but goes to nursing homes and apartment complexes and gets people to sign absentee ballots and fills them in later. That is how she manages to pull off the election.

It is a shame that stupidity in its self is not a crime.

What's next ? Is she gonna take their guns away because they might shoot themselves while cleaning them ? Will be kinda like the scene in the third Die Hard movie . Where the kid says " you could steal city hall " .

I got a new pair of shoes, anybody wanna go with to knock over their liquor store ?

While I believe that the police should be able to do their jobs, i.e chase criminals, there has to be a point where safety to the public is more important. For example; the town I grew up in is heavily populated and has a new policy regarding police pursuits. If between the hours of 0800 and 2200 if the perp has not yielded within a mile and speeds are greater than 60MPH the police are to back off. While this may seem silly to some, I'd hate for me or my family to be the innocent civilians that is maimed or killed. Just my 2 cents.

Oh...whoops, don't I feel stupid now. The video stop playing after 10 seconds so I just assumed it was talking about high speed pursuits.

When you think about it, it makes her memo all the more ridiculous. . What could happen on a foot chase, a cop sprained his ankle or something?

Hopefully the mayor's house gets robbed.

She's a douche and needs to be ejected from her office. She needs to be charged with 1st degree criminal douchebaggery.

As a matter of fact, she's a complete dumb fuck that needs to be jailed herself for violating these officer's sworn oath to uphold the law. I hope their union is fighting this shit!

If she were in a nursing home the staff would have called me to come and pick her up for "agitation, confusion and acting aggresive". Infact I think I did pick her up two or three shifts ago...or atleast someone just like her.

A shot of haldol and back to the nursing home she would go....

Kinda thinking the same thing. Does she have the authority to do so? That would be like your mayor telling you not to treat a patient because they're an asshole. The title of "Mayor" does not give the authority to order others to violate a sworn oath.
