we just had a code save last shift and it was great we used the new cpr gide lines pt was in fib, we shocked x1 @ 200j pt went to asystole & after few mins of cpr found pluse and breathing. we boarded pt ej for iv & transported lights, by the time we got to ed had radial pulse hr 56 & resp 20 with 99%spo2 with 15lL nrbm. last i heared pt out of icu and on the floor and getting better each day. that is one we needed ps training that day was cpr. we ran 11 calls that shift normal shift is 3 to 4 in a 24hr shift.
