Last night did a 5hr interhosp. transfer of a pax from a rural hospital with PIH developed Pul. Edema on the table and been vented since (10days). GCS 10/10 vented with
SIMV-PC
PEEP 15cmH2O
Rate 14 (actually 21)
P support of 20
And P control of 23
Trig 2.0
On some sedation cocktail, V/S stable but the infusions boggle me !! Tridol(nitroglycerine) –can see Y- but then another of Adrenaline (5ug/min) causing a slight tachycardia turned it down sometime later. Also kept her sedated through out the trip with boluses cos both my syringe drivers were being used.
NE1 shed some light for me on this ??
