RIP Leigh.
Leigh and her ambulance were involved in an MVA with a coal truck earlier today in Southern WV. I knew Leigh, although not well. Thoughts to her family and loved ones.
McDowell County Ambulance Authority Director Linda Belcher says the two victims were on their way back to the Bradshaw station after picking up something to eat.
Belcher says they were rounding a curve in the road when a coal truck driver crossed the center line and struck the ambulance on the driver's side, pinning it against a hillside.
